FAQs

Asymmetry is a social network app where men can be advised by small circles of women discussing various topics of their interest. Up to four women initiate a voice conversation among themselves and men browsing active circles can request to join in. They can ask questions, join the discussion or just listen in. The app is location based in a sense that at least one member of a given circle will be local to the man. The objective is networking, information sharing and developing friendships. Both men and women have simple profiles and aside from the main voice channel, there is a chat space where text, images and videos can be shared.
-
Create your profiles. Form circles with each circle having up to four members. Choose discussion topics for each circle ( you can easily update the topics). Activate your circle by starting a call and chatting with your friends. Men can request to join your chats. Once you accept they can join in. You can also simply “start a call” without anyone in your circle responding and men can still join the call if you accept. In this case, it is essentially a chat between you and the man who has joined. Any member can choose to connect and keep in touch with the man, should she choose to do so, via text.
-
Create your profile. Open the app and browse the circles, members and topics. Request to join in a chat. Once accepted by the circle join in. Members can keep in touch with you after the live call, should they choose to do so, via text.

Open the app, and click the button titled “Sign Up”. You will need to enter a valid phone number, first name or nickname, password, bio, profile picture, identity, and agree to the locations permission, terms of service, and privacy policy. If no user is associated with that phone number, the app will send a text message to that number to let them know you have invited them. Their invite will be stored in case they then download the app and create an account with that phone number.
